What are the best link building practices now for SEO?

As Matt Cutts said that link building through article directory is no more valuable, directory submission are also less important & now more guest post is also considered as spam. So, for keyword ranking which is the best link building technics for better result in seo?

 

Writing real sentences,
producing quality videos ,
having a good social media presence
and a good rating with the BBB,
and Google Authorship
LOTS of cash to do the above........

 

I think what now left is submitting your own article or press releases on you're own blog, for back links you could always take your eyes towards the forums and yes today what matters most is the Google Authorship, but you also can't forget the social media as this is the place from where you will be getting most of the traffic as well as the leads they can be used easily for the lead generation purpose and the brand awareness.

Well, @amit2seo Google Authorship helps you to claim the content you have created, it means if I am writing an article and adds Google authorship on it means now the content belongs to me and whenever a user is searching it will appear in the search engine with the picture on it. You arw not allowed to build links. Focus on writing good content, share them to social media sites.... let the links come in its own.

Agreed. You can't take Social media out of the equation. It's a good source of raw traffic.
