That's kind of a difficult question to anwser, you should try to find the most important forums within your niche and promote your products there.

In order for you to rank higher , you need relevant links.
Besides, Most likely people in forum closer to you niche will buy your products.

 

sitepoint.com is the best

 

its many.. but you can analyze the amount of member and post. bigger is better..

 

It depends on the type of site which you want to promote.

Like if you have celebrity pic or Hollywood related site then you must promote it in celebrity forums likewise if you have technology site then you must promote at technology forums.

Its because it will increase your sites SERPs and will bring you valueable traffic as well ...

Even I agree with others. According to the domain your business you should search for the relevant forum. The number of members, location it is catered and how active is it ? All plays an important role to make it best

 

it depends on the niche...

but I always log in DP, V7n, and Sitepoint...

 

to promote a product, search a forum for your niche and active there. But to increase PR and SEO, active in a dofollow forum is better.

 

I do agree with others. Just go for a forum for your niche and remember it should be do follow. It will be the best forum for you.
