What are the best do-follow forums, blogs, and sites to get backlinks from?

Hell everyone, I just wanted to know if you can recommend me a few good do-follow forums and blogs. I just want the notable ones and not a huge long list!

Also, are the any blogs out there you know of that display recent comments?

The best ones to get backlinks from are ones related to the keywords you're trying to target. If you can get them from .edu or .gov site even more the better.

 

That reminds me, what is special about getting a backlink from a .edu site?

None of the blogs that will be suggested in this thread or anywhere in DP. They will be spammed to death.

 

I have a list thats sorted by PageRank. From NR-PR8. There are 299 sorted and another 69 that I haven't gotten put in yet but are listed on the front page.

I'm not much for categories so you've got to do your own hunting unless your just interested in PageRank.
