what are the best articles directories?

Just a question for all of you articles writers. What are the best, say top 5, articles directories to get the most exposure? Also, are there directories specialized in a specific niche?
I'd like to give it a try with a handful of short articles to see how it works in the next few weeks.

They're general directories and you get nice exposure.

Ezinearticles is my favorite. Articlebase is also good.

 

For me it's Ezine Articles, Go Articles, & Articles Base.

 

Ezinearticles is probably one of the most popular ones, but you could also try http://www.articledashboard.com/ .

 

Ezine articles is obviously the best but I would say

1. Ezine Articles
2. Search Warp
3. Go Articles
4. Article Base
5. Isnare

I have recently had great results with Search warp. I did a test and wrote 2 articles with the same keyword density and submitted one to ezine and one to search warp and the article I submitted to search warp ranked higher than ezines.

Ezinearticle is the favorite of all.. easy to get approved with very lucrative exposure for good topics..
