What are the best alternatives to Google analytics?

Now i've got analytics and also expertcounters, i prefer the latter to be honest. But if i'm honest neither are all that great, for one experts down times getting silly at the moment. So my question has anyone got any other good traffic analysis sites the would recommend? And no i dont want to pay for them lol

if you don't want to pay for them then GA is the best. try using Woopra.although it is not the best but it gives the traffic in the real time

Really GA? i cant get along with them, i prefer the expert counters, mainly becayse everything is in real time and you have the counter option. Only thing is the counter looks like a 5yr old designed it!

I use Woopra Beta and its amazing. All stats are live. You can see who is on your site live, and send them messages, along with many other features that are not available with analytics. I just switched from GA to Woopra a few days ago and I'm happy so far.

Dont you think that might be considered intrusive to your visitors if you can send them messages?

just in case you are using wordpress for your site. You could use a plugin called StatPress, they offer real time statistics for your site.

expertcounter looks like a statcounter clone.

I've been using statcounter for a while now.
