Hello colleagues and DP friends, I'm a newbie when it comes to affiliate marketing. Please keep that in mind when responding. I recently subscribed at Market health because someone recommended it. I chose a niche and noticed the affiliate program offered a free template as well. I gave it a go, but was disappointed for many reasons. The two main: 1. The complete template was build in uneditable php, so limited seo was possible/allowed. 2. It came with a robot.txt with a no follow tag in it. It's not allowed to change that. I now that becoming rich overnight (if ever) with affiliate marketing is impossible, but I'm willing to put a lot of work in it. My plan is to get organic visitors with some targeted adwords support. So my question is, and I think I ask this for any affiliate newbie here: What is the best affiliate program? There are a few things I would like you to take in consideration when answering my question. 1. I want to start from scratch, no website with traffic on forehand. 2. A free offered template with the option to edit it would be nice. 3. A good and fair pay system (no scammers) 4. A large marketplace to chose a niche. I hope the pro's of this forum are willing to clear some things up for newbies here by answering my question. No need to tell your secrets of course. Maybe even ad your top 5 of best affiliate programs with your arguments. Thank you in advance.
I know MoreNiche.com and WorldNiche.com offer templates that can be edited for free, but there products are limited. I personally use CJ.com as it has affiliate programs for a whole range of niches, and your guaranteed to get your payment as they are well known and reputable.
@Lastbutnotleast That's a good one. Looks very user-friendly. I will check it out! Do you have any experience with it? @glendowney MoreNiche.com and WorldNiche.com would be good too if they offered more products. CJ looks excellent, especially since they are that big (makes them trustworthy somehow). Do they have templates that can be customized/editted (html)? If you like can you tell me more in general, did affiliate marketing work out for you? Can it be learned and does hard work always pay of, what is the factor luck. You helped me already, these answers would be considered bonuses @both. Is what you tell me from a purely objective point of view or are you in anyway related to those sites? (No offence, your contribution is very much appreciated!! but many people at DP have a hidden agenda)
MoreNiche is great for the templates and guides etc. Makes it easy to get a start. MarketLeverage is good for a bit of varitey (check sig.). LinkShare is another one worth checking out. CJ is probably the biggest and has the widest range though.
Check out the second line of my sig if your interested in building a residual income with 5 of the best affiliate programs online. Plus you will have a website built for you that if you like can be customized to the way you want it. Also comes with a internet marketing guide teaching you how to promote and advertise.
