There are lost of payment processing sites available on net.
But from these only four to five is most used by the international people in the world.
These sites included PAYPAL, Moneybookers, Alertpay, Egold etc.

Not many sellers are accepting moneybookers but you can withdraw money easily from moneybookers than paypal

I prefer you only use Paypal. No any sites like it.

Some I can think of right now that are safe and easy to use are Paypal, 2Checkout, Google Checkout, MoneyBookers. There are others but I have no experience with them.

1- Moneybookers because they are another payment processor accepted in eBay. They have lot of currencies supported.
2- HooPay.com because they have lot of currencies, offshore location, good API gateway and the security system with SMS alerts is excellent (Each time you carry out payments, deposit...will receive SMS with secure code to accept them)
3- 2Checkout.com because they have debit card to withdraw the money.
4- Liberty Reserve because they accept Hyip, and they are a confidence company.
5- Alertpay because has low fees and good skills by staff people.

    Beware with e-gold, it's dead.

I am reluctant to use Google Checkout just because of Google's behavior with adwords customers etc. I think they are really no better than Paypal.

If you want a merchant account and are in the US, ipowerpay.com is quite a good company who are fairly flexible. If you don't live in the US, you could register your company in the US and use them. Costs a few hundred dollars, but it's worth it.

I'd recommend Moneybookers, although Paypal is the most popular one.

I use paypal because it is simple and easy to apply.
In fact, I applied different paypal for different websites to avoid buyer being confused. :(

    First time heard "Moneybookers".

For the restaurant in US what will be the best payment processing solution? We need it for online ordering and buying gift certificates.
