Hi Just wondering, companies love to have "News" section in their website. Is there any advantages of having "News" section on your website, which update once in two days, or are there some other benefits then SEO?
News is good because it focus on current events or trends. Spiders have their eyes open for new news that is highly being searched
It's always an advantage to keep adding fresh content to your site, provided it's relevant. It does help with SEO, provided you use popular keywords in the titles and texts of your posts. It also helps build the reputation of your site in other ways. If the news is of sufficiently broad interest, and it's unique or adds a unique perspective, people may bookmark your news page and create links to it. If you create the page with a blogging tool such as Wordpress, it will generate an RSS feed which you can also send to sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The "news" section provides updated fresh content for users and search engines. It's also a great way to increase website visitor loyalty (return visits). As a note, content should be relevant and engaging focused on the user. Do that, and you will experience the SEO benefits.
