    Hello
I found out that posts are considered as seperate entities to the actual website belong. If so, can they even help the website with ranking, pr, traffic etc.

What are the benefits of adding daily content via posting, if you are not actually growing the websites popularity via organic of search engine respect.

    I am confused, please help.

If i add 5 major posts a day, how can this benefit.

Any experience from top class posters would be awesome.

by adding daily content via posting you are creating constant backlinks and generating higher traffic for your site (provided you have your links in your signature). The more traffic you generate from this the more it adds to your site looking popular. Plus the search engines will pick up all your links.

Sorry, i don't mean posting in forums and having a signature present, i'm talking about posting via my website, as its a wordpress platform based website, it is deemed that posts are seen as seperate sources by google.

    As they are not pages.

So what can adding these posts do over time, they might just be lost completely.

    1. The more you post the more Google will crawl your website.
    2. The more material you have on Google the more chances people will click on your site
    3. The more material you have on Google the more chances you will get "lucky" with one of them and it will hit first spot for major keywords.

One post a day should be good. 5 seems a little ridiculous.

Google is now looking for sites that are run by humans and not bots. New content two or three times a week is good. Also don't forget video. Start a video page and post to that, Google rewards sites with video, hence Youtube. Take some old articles and instead of rewriting them just create a video word for word, there's no duplicate content to worry about.

Adding unique content freshly created will be very beneficial, Google and other search engines will see the new content added and continue to spider your site and note the additional links.

I've heard that google like to see consistent content growth instead of a bunch of content all at one time. I think it looks more natural

Posting on other blogs similar to your niche gets you more recognition which eventually leads to traffic to your site.
