Here are some: -You can market to them! -Make money just by Sending out Mails. -Send out ads and make money. List some more. And what is stopping people from using a list? Are people not into making money with ebooks and lists?
1. If it's a squeeze page, a Webmaster will lose a lot of potential customers because many of them will either back out of the site or give a fake e-mail address so they can enter the site. Why in the hell should they have to give their e-mail address, JUST to enter a site? Many do not like them, for the obvious reason. 2. If it is list building from newsletters, many who do sign up will read, maybe, the first couple, and that's it. In fact, over 50% wil not read them all. 3. Some who do sign up for the newsletter will later change their mind and won't even bother opening the first letter. 4. And, the biggest reason, is that the same info in the newsletters can be put on the home and subpages for EVERYONE to see, thus increasing more repeat visitors and sales. Less than 10% of a site's visitors sign up for newsletters. Why show the info to only that small amount when you can show it to everyone? Those are my reasons also, and I sell three e-books.
