What are strategies of the top domainers?

    Read recently that top domainers make more than $20K per mth.
    How do they do it? What are their strategies?
    1) Low volume/High margin- Target premium names and make $x,xxx per domain? SPot trends and grab domains in high demand.
    2) High volume/ low margin- Sell bulk/high volume making a few dollars per domain?
    3) Start own domain marketplace like tdnam ?
    4) Buy and sell in forums like DP, Sitepoint? :D
    Anyone care to comment. :D

    Hand reg the domains in the 90's and park them.

    Most do a bit of everything really.
