To integrate ads with your content is the most common and most useful way to improve CTR. Try to blend your ads. Remove borders, change the colors, use images, etc.
It will be good if we can see your URL so it will be easy to suggest you.

A CTR of 0.34% is low. Usually a good CTR would be between 5-20%. To get a better CTR, make your ads blend into your content, have the ad links be the same color as the rest of the links in your site, & make sure you have enough content on the page so the ads are more relevant or make use of section targeting if they are not.

    Hope that helps.

I've heard that adding images above the ADs will promote CTR by 400%. Man, I get dizzy whenever I say that !!

What works for me is keeping things as simple as possible, and not giving the reader a whole lot of 'other' choices when it comes to exiting the page. Ad skyscraper in the left sidebar. Clean content in a fat right column. White background, black text. One link leading home at the bottom of each article.

Good point. Also, make sure your visitors can see the ads. Stick it with your content. May I have a look at your website? Or it's a forum?

20% CTR?? I am sure you are talking about MFAs:eek:
4%-5% will be extremely good if you consider visitors as people looking for content not for ads :D

it also depends on your traffic:

more traffic you get generally the lower your ctr will be.
