Hi there guys, I write original content and I was just wondering where the best forums (like digitalpoint) to try and sell that content. I have already had some good success on namepros.com and was just looking for more paces to sell.
v7n.com, netbuilders.com, webtalkforums.com and many other forums exist where you can try to sell content. Try Googling "Webmaster marketplace".
I have to recommend Net Builders, a small community but growing very fast with some really great people. Anyways I would also recommend checking out Wicked Fire, it's mostly an affiliate marketing forum with some spunk but you'll find some good work there
Yea I have a Wicked Fire account but people ask me for review copies and i personally dont know what that means, plus everytime I ask a question or try to sell something, i tend to get bashed by some of the forum users. I hate the etiquette that is sometimes used on forums.
Here's a nice little list of forums that you can check out for the work they might offer. Hope it helps! http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/best-webmaster-forums P.S. Google works wonders....that's how I found this site, LOL!
A review copy on WF is a copy provided to a higher "ranking" member of the site for free so that the member can provide an honest review of your material for the others. Check out some other writers' threads over there to see how that works. It's definitely not a forum for the weak, however - you have to be able to stand your ground and roll with the punches.
It means "give me your product for free, and I'll tell people it's worth buying." Basically, they're offering to shill for your product. Instead of buying it and giving you an honest review, they'll guarantee a good review if you give it to them free. Oh, and they also have a slightly higher chance of shoving your product onto a torrent site within the hour. WickedFire is a pretty raw sort of place. I just sort of lurk, because I'm rather serious, and there's not so much serious discussion over there. I think I'm a little too serious for them, but then again I'm often a little too raw for other forums. There's got to be a middle ground somewhere.
