What are some great tips for profit producing blogs? I am new to blogging and would love to get some experienced bloggers opinions on what is the best course of action. Thanks a bunch!
Start with a topic that you are passionate about that you will want to write about every day. If you are happy about your topic, that is the most important thing.
You need to do the basics such as key word search, competitor analysis, content development etc etc. Do all that then come back and ask questions. You'll get better results.

Whatever you do just don't start yet another Make Money Online blog. Please! Especially if you have absolutely no idea how to make money online
if you are monetizing your blog try thinking of affilaite products as well as adsense. Why get a few cents per click when you can get $'s promoting clickbank products etc.
If you are serious about making money then forget about other sites, seriously..... Forget about "make $1000 today" and "google page 1 in 12 hours" nonsense too, its all rubbish. Find something you are passionate about and create a blog - not on blogger, host it on your own domain/web server and keep typing away. Work your way to being an authorative site for your hobby, for example, and your blog will set you up for life. This is all facts.
Create lots of interesting content then add Adsense to monetize your blog. You can also create reviews of product then use affiliate links when directing them to the product's site.

Find something that people really want badly these days and make a product out of it. Talk about it in your blog.
One word: micro niche. Find something that nobody is doing, a niche within a niche, not too hard to find. You need a good keyword tool. And try to do something that involves buyers not just browsers.
