    I've been asked recently what Solo Ads are.
    In order to better explain clearly, I did up an illustration of how it works.

    What are Solo Ads?
    Solo Ads is a form of paid advertising.

    You basically pay someone (who has a targeted list of subscribers in your niche – usually MMO) to send out email broadcasts to their subscribers.
    You’ll then receive an agreed no. of unique clicks to your landing/sales page through your links placed in the emails.

    My beef is with the term itself. What ignoramus came up with the term Solo Ads? It's no wonder it takes Alvin (and others) to explain what it actually is, since Solo Ads is just a buzz word that means virtually nothing to a lot of people.

    But at the end of the day, maybe it's me who is an ignoramus.

    Got me curious and I went to search.

    It essentially means someone with a mailing list Promoting (Ad) a Single (Solo) offer/product/service.

    I agree the term is not the best (solo ad) what could be a better term is "email blast" or something like that.

    Solo Ads are so powerful its not even funny. I love the concept but the first commenter had me laughing. But yes Solo Ads are powerful given you are using the right people with the right list.

    Yes Solo Ads are the most effective form of Paid Advertising as you're tapping on a list of subscribers who are eager to learn more about the specific niche.

    It is imperative to find the right sellers as there are plenty of unethical sellers who send bot clicks.
