    It is a map which lists the url of your site,the google robbot can follow the map to reach your pages much easier.It can help your site indexed quickly.

    google sitemap is sitema.xml and be sure Sitemap.xml not sitemap.xml and you can get FREE online tools to generate google sitemap. I have created for my lots of websites
