thats not possible to get ranked in 1 week ...it takes time

submit your website to Google and use webmaster tool and select fetch as Google

 

u must be index on google, without it u cant get rank 1 on google...
just post a uniq article and optimize ur blog...

Invent a new niche. Submit to Google. It would work even under a new keyword term. For example, a website I had "Expired Insurance dot com" I was listed number one for "expired insurance" pretty quick in both Google and Bing. The thing is no one really searches those exact keywords, so even though I got number one ranked in all search engines in about a week, it would do me no good. Whoah! number in just 1 week? I don't think it's possible since you need to meet all the qualities to be rated number 1. And I'll tell you, it's not that easy as you think, but get rank maybe possiblee but just directly to be ranked 1 but if someone did thenn better tell me the secrets so that I could try myself

Not true, I've gotten on the first page many times for keywords I targeted. Getting on the first page within 7 days is easy, getting rank 1 within 7 days is NOT. This is also considering the competitiveness of keywords. I've developed many websites and got them visible on the first page within 3-4 days. These are even recent projects within the last 30 days. As long as you develop with SEO BEST Practices you should be good. Solid hosting, clean coding, microdata, fast load times, well written/optimized content, rich media, and sitemap submission to Google webmaster tools. Sending some social media signals to the website or webpage that you're targeting also helps.

 

I agree, with a correct method and good research, a site can visible in google in one week.

 

It may be or may not be, SEO is not exact, it works on assumption, guesses etc..

However, there are keywords which are low competitive, high competitive, middle competitive.

So how can any one answer this question, unless you mention your keyword and website?
