    I have two new websites:

    http://www.oilcups.com
    http://www.dashplanet.com

What are the two best web directories so that my sites do better.

According to me the best way is to monitor forums or directory lists for new directories. This forum has an announcement section: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65

Both new and established directory owners announced their directories here. It tells you that the directory owner is active and is promoting their directory. These directories are likely to accepted submitted links.

If you really want the best 2 then :-

1.) Yahoo Directory , PAID One , will charge you somewhere around ~200$ for lisitng
2.) DMOZ Directory, FREE One, will charge your patience as submission will take long time to approve

But these are two WORLD Best directories, I can challenge if there is better then above 2 if anyone has to recommend

There is no such thing as a 'quick' and 'free' directory.

When using the two words in the same sentence, you are already on the wrong track.

    quality free
    Bittersweet
    Controlled chaos
    Icy hot
    Living dead
    Open secret
    Organized mess
    Same difference

Deafening silence is also good but my favorite would be

Here's a list of free directories. You can use the search on the site to narrow the list by PR, Traffic, niche, approval time, etc.
