what are published articles?

    What I mean is, what are published ezine articles.

    I have a couple and don't really understand the benifit.

    There are lots of benefits. From bringing traffic to your site, ranking them in search engines to just simply teaching people new things from your expertise.

    You can get alot of traffic from articles.
    You write articles with your keywords in it then put the link to your blog or web site in the authors box.
    If it's a well written articles you'll get traffic.
    Its also goob because other blogs will pick up and reprint your article and you'll get back links from it too.

    What about when I submit to Ezine articles and I check my article stats and it says I have so and so view, so and so clicks on my link, and 1 publisher?

    What's a publisher?
