what are most power full backlinks for you? I think best are from article directories.

There is no such thing as most powerful backlink. As for most relevant - that's another thing. Also, backlink strength is dependent on lots of factors such as domain age, keyword competition, amount of outgoing links on the same page and others.

 

To get best results from your backlinking campaigns get backlinks from related pages ... Also, the backlinks should come from the body of an article instead of the sidebar.

Article directories (articles base, ezine articles etc) and social media sites (digg, stumbleupon). Those pages rank highly and will give you great backlink juice.

 

unique article writing, marketing and forum posting (no spam) are the best ways to build massive of high quality backlinks.

 

Backlinks from .edu and .gov domains seem to carry a lot of weight, especially if they are DoFollow.

 

Oh yeah, and press releases are also a great way to build backlinks and sometimes get traffic.
