What are more profitable? Blogs or forums?

Have sponsors on the site which are reputable.

 

I think forums will make more money on the long run, because people who become members in forums come on a daily basis.

Absolutely! It's all about repeat traffic and less reliance on the search engines.

 

Both can make money but I think it's easier to create a good blog than it is to create a good forum.

 

There both bloody hard to become a "success". I think at the end of the day, the "idea" is what is most important, regardless of the platform. It shouldn't be a matter of one or the other, do both

 

Forums are more profitable I think, but it's very very difficult to make them profitable at all. In other words, they have more potential. With blogs it is easier to make money but it's hard to make a lot.

Both have their share of positives. I prefer forums to blogs though.

i would say that blogs are more profitable in most cases, as they require less work to maintain, and it is far easier to run an adsense or bidvertiser campaign on a blog then it is to run one on a forum.

 

with the same amount of traffice, blog will get more profit. but Forums is easier to increase in traffic number once it's famous. so it's depends.

 

How do you know the blog will get more profit?

 

My forums bring in a nice amount of money but my blogs bring in way more.
