Can someone tell me what is the meaning of "Hops" in cb? Is it number of clicks to an affiliate page?

    Thanks!

The # of clicks on your affiliate link = the # of hops.

    Hope it is clear.

Hops are basically the visitor clickthroughs on the affiliate link to the vendors sales page.

Your Site ------>>>> Clicks Your Hoplink -------->>>> Arrives Vendors Page

Its always a good idea to track how many hops you receive before you get a sale. For example when you are picking out a clickbank product you will notice that some will show what that product is converting at like 1 sale in every 10 etc well you should use this as a rough guide when making your sales and if you find that you are not making that within 10 - 20 visitors you will need to re-evaluate your pre-sell page and start cranking everything up a notch.
