I see somewhere that my blog google backlink is only 5, whereas yahoo backlink is somehow 3000, so what is the google link actually and how to increase google link?

Google Shows the Quality Do follow Back link and Yahoo Shows the All the Back links. If you want the Increase the Google Links gets the Do follow Quality Back links.
Google shows only quality links! Yahoo shows almost all sites linking you! If you try Domain-pop.com it may show more links than Yahoo most of the times!
Google weeds out all of the useless links. It doens't show the no follow, the link exchanges, the duplicate links form the same IP, the links from bad neighborhood. Read this for more info... Where Are All My Backlinks?
