What are goals in Google analytics?

    I am very much new to google analytics.I have configure all but i dont know what are goals and how to set them?Please brief me on this.

    Goals are objective measurement tool on Google analytics. If you want to fix some objectives for your blog or site, you can set up goals.

    Goals are the criteria that you set for best measurement of your website. It may be total no. of clicks, total no. of visitors, no. of downloads etc. You can get more info about "Goals" in your Goal section in your Google Analytics.
