what are ESSENTIAL most quality directories to submit

    what are ESSENTIAL most quality directories to submit
    i don't want the 1,000's of crap, can this board but together like top 10-20
    i'll start what i know

    1. yahoo $300
    2. dmoz
    ...that's all i know

    after all is done i'll collect and make post for everyones benefit in 1 nice post

    if there is already website with url that shows this, please shar

    Oh you really opened it up now. lol

    Realistically set yourself some criteria and submit to the directories which meet them.

    There is a list of directories here that I like to refer to occasionally.

    edit - oops I should have included another list you can check here.

    Should be fun to watch this thread from here.

    I like to start with directories that have traffic and PR. Then narrow it down based on my specific site's needs. You can use the search on the site to get a list based on PR, Traffic, Price, Niche, etc.

    A lot of people seem to like the botw, they have a pretty good pr but it's one of the more spendy directories.

    I wonder what people think of the msn directory? I added a few sites to it a couple of years ago but didn't really think I was getting anything out of it so I never renewed it.
