What are differences between exponential and logistic growth?

    Well I would assume by logistic you mean increasing traffic at a steady rate. Like an increase of 10% per month or something. Exponential growth means your traffic increases much more quickly, like from 10 visits per day to 1000 per day to 10000 per day. Exponential growth probably requires some serious media or social networking attention.

    maximum value of r (in an unlimited environment) is called the biotic potential




    Logistic
    growth is not unlimited
    environment can only support a certain number of individuals (the carrying capacity)
    environmental resistance
