What are 'cubby houses' called in the US?

    I'm guessing 'tree houses', but what if they're not up a tree?

    We call them clubhouses usually. BTW, that is pretty nice looking one...wish I were a kid again!

    Club house sits high (like the picture), a fort is at ground level, and a tree fort sits in the trees.
