As probably lot of other webmaster, i got fed up with Chinese spam too. They keep spamming the contact forms on my sites with their junk and idiotic things with their STUPID "I veri vell english tolking" style language.

Does anyone have a list of china IP ranges so i put them in my "IP Deny" list ? Would appreciate any other known spammer/hacker IP ranges as well

As a starter, here i post my current list that i've collected within some time. Each entry in this list has a good reason to be banned from websites (unless you do direct business with china and russia).

Please share your "IP Deny" lists with me too.

Here's my list (copied from my .htaccess file)

I don't know how effective this would be honestly. Why not try to beef up your anit-spam measures?

It's more then effective trust me . Banning China and other similar spammers nest is by far the best measure you can implement .

you see, it wouldn't been effective if my problem was the bots spamming my site (since they use proxyes from all around the world).

However i've cut off the bot spam simply by changing the field names in my forms (simply name the email field as "phone" and validate the email to be correct format .. pretty much 100% of bots die on this kind of a form)

so the problem i'm left with is the actual "Mr. Lee"s who actually sit there and visit your site and manually fill up your contact form with their irrelevant and junk offers. In this case, the IP Deny is your best friend

DailySoft4U - thanks for the list, it's a good one, however i've spotted a couple US IPs in there as well, so be careful when using it
