What are benifits from links to Your Site from web master tool

    Links to your site from Web Master tool - what are the benefits from this.

    and tell me what it shows .........as my point of view it shows links that where i submit my sites and blogs........this is my idea..........plz let me know about it..............

    Webmaster tools just shows you a list of sites that link to yours. It is not 100% accurate at all. Inbound links to your website are one of the primary factors for ranking highly in the search engines.

    Yes it show you your progress, when i am checking my webmasters tools I get happy to see it going better

    It show you result what you are doing

    They are useless. Because they are not pointing directly to your site, so they don't increase your popularity or PR.
