What are backlinks and pings...?

    I am running WP script on my web @ http://iworld.wordpress.com .
    I have two favors to ask:
    1. Kindly tell me what are backlinks and pings in details...
    2. Review my site.. in the matter that how I may improve it and if its good overall or not...

    If you want to get your site reviewed, there is a separate section for that at DP.

    As for backlinks...every time someone links to you on their site, you get a backlink.

    You might want to Google Angela V Edwards. She offers a service that will locate sites you can backlink from. You'll need to do this manually or hire someone to do it for you.

    ping parameters:[-t]、[-a]、[-n count]、[-l size]、[-f]、[-i TTL]、[-v TOS] 、[-r count]、[-s count] and etc...
    I just used some parameters of them when it's necessary.Ping command is always used to solve some problems
    on network connection.If you don't want to be special in this field,you only need to know some basic use of it.
