PR removed from Google’s webmaster tools. What are alternatives to measuring Google page rank?
I made a post about google page rank. What is your opinion ?

I'm still a fan of actual unique visitors...so the Alexa rank gives you an idea where a site stands!

The only other semi-comparable metrics around are the Alexa rank, Compete rank, and mozRank.

    Hello...

this is how i would measure ...

    1. Sites Serp Ranking
    2. Awstats (monthly unique traffic)
    3. Relevant Content (Quality site?)
    4. Sites Keyword Rankings
    5. Authority Status? (Sitelinks in Google)

Regardless of PR i use these other metrics to gauge whether
the site is worthy of my advert budget or linking to it.

Note: I didnt add Alexa to the list as i could care less about other webmasters
visiting my site and it can be manipulated easily... (though they offer more stats now)

mozRank is the closest we have to PageRank

If you are using the Firefox plugin SearchStatus you can see mozRank stats as well as Alexa, Compete and PageRank

I would keep eyes on the SERPS ranking and unique visitors monthly both to jefe whether it's a quality site.

Search for what seems to be an important and relevant phrase from the site and see how it ranks for it.
