    i use avast for my netbook and avg for my desktop PC..all free license..feels too much money will spent if i buy kaspersky or norton, besides you must spent money again every year for renewals

    I've tried a bunch of free antivirus programs and one paid(NORTON) and without a doubt the new AVG is the best ever. It even tells you which websites are safe when using the Chrome(browser) The free version is almost too good as it has saved me countless times :)

    I'm pretty fickle. I've run several different ones in the past but I tend to ditch it FAST if it burns me. Avira did not catch a nasty critter I had recently and I was all, buh-bye! MS Security Essentials helped me out of the jam, Malwarebytes too finished off what MSSE could not scrub
