    my antivirus on my PC is kaspersky, I think this the best antivirus :) every detected virus will automatic will deleted by kaspersky. AVG as well ok.

    [FONT=&amp]I agree with Hostjail. AVG has worked well for me so far. However after installing 2011 process monitor is showing it performing 200 file operations a second even with its modules disabled and while full screen applications like games are running.[/FONT]

    I have used most of free antiviruses that can be found on internet, and in my opinion Avg, Avast, avira, norton ..... (I dont remember the others 4 the moment) are just the same ..... and they only differ form the friendly interface they have. And I think that there must be a reason why the companies give you a free antivirus and sell another one.
    If you wanna used it for office or at work .... just go and buy Kaspersky or Nod!! These are money worth spent
    If you need it for just one pc on your home, what dont you try to install kaspersky 2011 trial for 30 days, and when the 30 days end, you reset it with kaspesky reset!In other words make a quick search on google about this. Hope it helps! Take care

    I've tried others (Nortons, McAfee), but I've had the best results using Kaspersky. It seems to catch things that the others don't.

    I've been using Nod32 for years now and I can say that its one of the best antivirus since it makes my laptop virus free.
