What Anti-Virus software do you use?

I'm not sure what forum to post this in, so I tried here.... Just a general computer question...

What anti-virus protection program do you use?

I'm looking for something that:

• is cheap,
• runs in the background without annoying me,
• keeps viruses and spyware away,
• fast (I don't want it to slow me down at all)

I don't care about advance spam protection, backup features, parental safety controls and all that jazz... just want something basic that will keep my computer safe.

P.S. I currently have Mcafee... I don't like all their windows pop-ups, warnings, and "informative" messages... and they seem expensive to me.... and they mark lots of my good email as spam.... before I renew, I'm just checking to see what else is out there that might be decent.

 

Kaspersky works well for me

 

I use AVG fre edition. It's the best

None, use to use kaspersky. But they really slow down your PC

 

None i don't need any .... i don't visit warez xx sites or suspecious ones (from there you catch most of virs)

 

Same, just stay out of the bad stuff. Don't download shizz you don't need that will get you spyware, viruses etc.

 

AVG Free

 

Recently got Kaspersky after using AVG free.

 

For Free Use AVG and for Paid always use McAfee thats I use :

Nod32 for a while now. Works great for me!

 

I use Kaspersky Internet security 7. It's better to me....

I been using a lot of antivirus, but I think no one is powerful. Just the matter of it high security and scanned every packets while using internet like Bit Defender 9 Plus.

Now I only using Avast Home Edition only..hehe
