    What are your favorite anime series in the world?

    The reason I am asking this question is I am looking to see what everyone likes in hopes to cater to the peoples want for anime :)

    I am looking for items that are Anime in a generalization. Spongebob Squarepants IMO is not anime but an Animated Television Series. Anime, from how I have always heard it, is what is known as Japanese Animation. But, yes you can classify all animated pictures as Anime as well.

    It is a great anime I agree. There are many others that are awesome as well though. I do not like to reserve myself to a single series ;)

    my tastes in anime are so old you probably never heard of them.. except for the first one...

    The Original Speed Racer
    Robotech (Macross)
    Star Blazer series 1 (be forever Yamoto)
    Gigantor B&W series
    Battle of the Planets (gatchaman)

    never got to experience G8 though heard it was quite good for its time.

    Todays cartoons are garbage and 3D. Thankfully anime is not. Watch the funmation channel if you want new stuff!

    no, not for an anime streaming site. Sorry to burst your bubble Project Mobius. I am asking this question for two reasons. 1) To see if there are any new series that I can pick up, as I have read up to date with all my current series I am reading. 2) I run a wallpaper site and I want to expand.
