I'm not sure, I need to check the TOS again, but I think $10,000.00 is the required amount for G to send certified mail. Or if your register to this service at your adsense account for approx $30.00 ( few countries are excempted from that fee).

UPS stand for "United Parcel Service" which delivers certified and registered mail. This is a secure (and if I'm not wrong an insured) delivery of your check when you have earnings over $10,000.00.

Sometimes Google's using other services then UPS.

If you are below this amount you can apply at your account for secure express delivery which costs approx. $30.00 per delivery. For certain countries you don't have to pay a fee when you use this service or when you're above the 10k mark.

    Does that explain it?

That is some goal, to get a certified delivery of a check.

Mine sometimes probably does'nt pay the daily salary of the worker who mailed it.

Google has stopped sending checks via courier. Now that they have direct deposit there is no point.
