What am i missing?

    Hi there,

    To date ive had a pretty good record of doing well with SEO but ive reached a point where ive exhausted every avenue and i'm not where i need to be.

    ... so i guess im missing a golden nugget of information anyone care to have a look at my site www.neue.co.uk and give me some advise?

    (recently repositioned it from "web design leeds" to "web design manchester")

    I would suggest to target local UK traffic and optimize keywords as per country specific search terms for google.co.uk.

    Web Design Manchester is only mentioned once on your homepage. You have good PR and plenty of links, I think the problem is related to lack of on page content relating to the keywords.

    Try inserting more natural content using the keywords, maybe positioned under the Contact Me section, to save changing the layout.

    The other option is to look at acquiring anchor text backlinks using your keywords.

    so you think its on page factors? Its hard to make the term "web design manchester" appear naturally as a string as its not a valid sentence or part of a sentence -

    anyone got any tips on this? or will simply be adding Manchester throughout the site be as good?

    Ahhh the old punctuation to divide a phrase trick. does that still work? through Google took into account sentence structure now?

    I would optimize the keywords stop smoking and quit smoking

    include them both in your meta title and description tags. You content looks good, and includes stop smoking enough times, i would also insert quit smoking too.

    Then get yourself some anchor text backlinks from related sites, which are formed utilizing the 2 sets of keywords. (individually)
