Soooo.....I've got a few sites that have been going for anywhere from just a couple of months to a little over a year. The majority of traffic (75% +) comes from search engines, but traffic is very low! I feel like I've done a very large amount of marketing and such, all sites have a PR of 2 or higher, but I can't seem to budge on traffic. I've gone through the usual directory submissions, social bookmarking, blog commenting, forum posting, link exchanges etc. but it seems like I've hit a dead end here. All sites are 100% original content, and all involve niches that I am very passionate about, so content is not a problem for me at all. Any "out of the box" traffic tips that any of you have would be greatly appreciated!!! dave
You are making it a bit difficult by hiding your details but: How are you ranking in your primary keywords? If you are 1st or near it and not getting enough traffic then your keywords don't get enough traffic and you need to find more relevant keywords. If you aren't near 1st and your keywords get traffic then you need to build more backlinks and more unique, relevant content. Sorry if it generalized but you aren't giving us a whole lot to work with here Hope it helps anyway, Tom
Do you try some adword? And you must do some niche to niche link exchange. There is no use if you link exchange with other kind of niche than your site. More over, you can try putting your site link at your signature so that it will get more attention
