My website is search engine optimized, has a google pagerank of 3, and is a category that a lot of people search for. I build backlinks everyday, and yet I'm only averaging around 60-80 visitors a day! My website is: http://www.freebie-link.com/ Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to attract more traffic?
Pagerank does not equal traffic. The faster people get that, the better for all of us. There are two other ways that might help you. One is, when you have freebies relevant to a niche, like your Purina One dog food, go to dog food forums and blog sites, and let them know the offer you have. Post the offer there. The second is, rather than optimising around "FREE BLAH BRAND NAME" maybe you should focus on "FREE SOAP POWDER" etc.
You need to make sure the keywords you're using are buying keywords. It sounds like you're on the right track, you just need to make some adjustments to your strategy.
Copywriting is also helpful. Remember, at the end of the day the Internet is a communications tool. Let your visitors know what the site is about without having to search for it. A couple of lines should do it.
I have to chime in as well regarding the Page Rank. Google says your relevancy is worth a "3" but the traffic doesn't care. You'll have to revisit your buyer or searcher keywords, especially during your link building exercises. Are you using anchor texts links in that process? Also, Business Advisor suggested a review of the copywriting. I second that. I went to your site and did indeed wonder what was going on....until I perused some of the posts. Is Adsense your primary source of monitization? Or, are the freebies getting you some CPA cash? If Adsense is supposed to be secondary, I would consider dumping it and putting more "Action" opportunities in place. Something you could easily test by installing a script that alternates between home pages for each unique visitor.
Page rank and traffic both are different.Even you have good page rank that does not mean you get more traffic.why don't you add more content or pages so your pages will be visible more and get more traffic.

What does the term copyrighting mean in the way you're using it? Is it sort of like a small message explaining what the site is about? Also, how do I make anchor text links and what are buyer searcher keywords? One more thing to add, all of my backlinks have the www. in front of it.
Make sure your sites target only "buying" keywords. If you choose to market something people can get for FREE your traffic potential but yet the chance of someone buying something from your website they can get for free somewhere else greatly diminishes. But like 1 poster mentioned, set up links in forum posts related to your market, go to Twitter, set up a Facebook page. Oh, do a YouTube video. Video marketing does work and converts really well.
When adding a link, you have to make sure you use your keywords as Anchor Text. You need to insert the html code this way: <a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com" > Your Anchor Text Here </a>. On the other hand I recommend you to do viral marketing through FB, twitter... For example Youtube is a really good option as well, you could upload videos displaying the freebies. Besides, you should find bloggers in every specific niche and let them know as they might be interested in writting a post about it.
