What am I doing wrong?

Okay, I've built over 1000 backlinks, I post at least 5 posts a day, I formatted my blog for google, I use my main keyword in every post title and every post and yet I'm only averaging around 100 views a day.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You are mistaking QUANTITY for QUALITY.

There was an old Marketing Campaign for Starkist Tuna.

Sorry Charlie Starkist doesn't want Tuna with Good Taste... Starkist wants tuna that tastes good.

Money follows value. Just throwing up volumes of links is meaningless. You would be much better off working to secure a small handful of high quality links than 1,000 junk links.

Marketing is about understanding what people want then giving it to them. If you want visitors you need to get your links where visitors go.

    This is oh so true.

Not to mention I would bet that your 5 posts a day aren't of the best quality either, are they?

You need to be serving posts of substance to keep visitors coming back and to attract new visitors as well.

Write posts that are useful to your audience. Heck, make it a question or debate-style post to get your readers involved and commenting. You'd be surprised at how much recurring traffic you could get through a good argument. ;)

Also, are you using social bookmarking to bookmark your posts? If not, you're missing out on some potentially instant traffic from doing so.

Are you writing for the search engines? Maybe you should focus on providing something for viewers instead of spiders.

And your back links surely should be coming from quality websites as well. As internetmarketingiq has already said.

There are many things that you could be doing wrong.

You could be using your keywords a bit too much in your posts. This makes any search engine believe that your site is just spam and will often bump you down or even off search rankings.

I'm sure you'll figure it out.

The thing is, my site is a Freebie Blog and so every post I post is a link to a freebie.

Also, what is considered a quality backlink?

Well, you just need more to submit your blog to top blog submsion directories and RSS dirctories and ping your blog after each post.

Also, do not focus on quantity of your post only but on quality. I mean to say that posting 5- 6 post with low quality content will not benefit more but a single post each day with high quality useful and unique post with good amount of content will be more beneficial.
