I have been using the alternate ads functionality on adsense to promote other web site of mine, but is there a better use of the alternate ads functionality? What are some good affiliate programs or other ads to be running? THANKS
I don't understand why you would want to waste time working on alternate ads. Why don't you just fix the problem that is causing your Adsense ads to not appear and make some money from them. If you really want to promote your other sites or promote affiliate programs, do it somewhere else on your page, separate from your Adsense placement, and gain the benifits of having BOTH types of ads.
The issue is that since the site I am running the ads on is a forum, the content can be all over the place... I get ads to appear most of the time, but since I run multiple ad units on a page, some will be filled while others are blank.
Was using affiliatesensor, but now all they do is spam me. affiliatesensor was good because I know how to target clickbank ads to my site. Pretty good conversion for my site with clickbank. Now I use http://www.hopads.com/ Its free. You can also try some others, but they did not work so well for me: http://www.adbrite.com/ http://publisher.yahoo.com/
