    Alexa is more for evaluating how you and others compare as opposed to having any bearing on ranking. I use it to look at how others are performing and also to see if an Alexa ranking is present at all for some site or companies.

    Basically, having a low Alexa ranking, means that you have a popular website and you can increase your sales having a popular website that can be compared with its competitors.
