    When I joined PayPal, they didn't have the same guidelines, they stated that you must be 18/older or have parental permission (not 18/older). When they brought in the new rule, my account got limited. I had to explain my situation and spent 3 and a 1/2 weeks providing more and more information.

    I didn't want to have to explain myself to any accusations, and that is why I didn't wish to reveal my age.

    Every single person that I have told has either simply not believed me or has been very shocked. It's up to you which path you take -- I could be a lier, as some believe, or I could be telling the truth. I haven't the time to argue about something as stupid as thus, so whichever decision you decide, so be it.

    might not be the reason. When i was underage i was careful about revealing my age on webmaster forums because people might not trust you as much. now that i am of legal age i don't have a problem.

    I am surprised by the age of a lot of people here. I has heard rumors that this was a younger crowd and I thought justly so with the large amount of hostility that can be found so easily. Now, I guess I believe it actually seeing a portion of the users' ages. I am 23.
