I don't think there is an age bar for anime...
Go and indulge as long as you like. Age doesn't come anywhere in the happiness. In fact, the older you grow, the happier you should feel but that is not the case actually ;)

A lot of anime gets better as you get older. I'm in my 30s and I still watch a lot of anime/animation. I can't imagine that I'll stop any time soon.

Age is only a number :)

Anime is not a genera, it's a medium through which stories targeted at all age groups are presented. It's like asking at what age will you outgrow movies. That being said, the same holds true for judging anime as boring or specifically for children. It will vary from title to title, but you can't just blanket statement a medium.

old animationa or cartoons remind you of old days when you get older
and new animes, some of them have an interesting plot
so just type of anime/cartoon will change but no age limit in general

I am 33 and just started watching anime about a year ago. I love it but not many people know that i watch it from time to time. They will not understand a grown man watching cartoons but you have not lived till you seen FMA Full metal Alchemist and Love Hina.

It's a little childish for me. And no you wont see middle aged Men reading Manga in Japan on a subway... Most men have jobs and wear suits to work they don't sit on a train to read a cartoon.

I think many people here might not really understand what the real Cartoon and Animation industry in Japan is. It's totally different from Western cartoon/animetion. This industry in japan is creating more jobs and money to many people and Japan and it already covered into all group of people in the society. There are many kinds of content which is suitable for kid, some are for adult (I dont mean "porn") and some for any age. for me there is no age limit for reading cartoon r watching anime.

It doesn't matter. I've been watching Anime and reading mangas ever since I was like 10 or so. I'm not as crazy about it as I used to be but I still like it. ^_^
