    Hey Folks,

I run a very conservative business education, accounting, finance, investment oriented site. We enjoy hundreds of one-way BLs, mostly authority sites, with linking out to only 7 sites. We run no ads of any kind except Adsense in our glossary. Those ads do reasonably well.

We are now looking at developing a whole new section on the site where we link out to primarily .gov and .org authority sites on a georgraphic basis to assist accounting professionals locate resources. My thought is that, within the planned pages, to also offer links to accounting software and online/distance-learning business/accounting/finance degrees. I would like those affiliate links to be text links only so that they do not appear to be advertisements. We must keep the aura of conservatism.

I was wondering if any of you are aware of or could recommend an existent affiliate program offering advertising clients in the accounting software and online/distance-learning business/accounting/finance degrees space? Or am I searching for affiliate programs that are non-existent?

eLearners.com, DirectDegree.com, ICS Learn, Thomson Education Direct, and Kennedy-Western University all use the CommissionJunction system.

You might also find some synergy with other CJ affiliates, such as ASAP Checks, Forms & Supplies, Forbes Investment Newsletters, and AllBusiness.com.

Thanks Will. I guess the well known online degrees, e.g. University of Phoenix, are not part of any affiliate program. I likely have to contact each institution directly.

Capella University (not quite a University of Phoenix, but still pretty well known in the field) also used to use Commission Junction (started their program shortly after I stopped working there). However, when I applied (mainly just to see if my former boss would notice) I never got a response to my application.

It's been a while since I checked, so they may have cancelled thei CJ program, but it might be worth looking into.

This isn't an affiliate program, but if you're looking for more ways to monetize your traffic, you might try Adbrite. I've heard several stories of people making wonderful amount of money with them when other, more traditional, affiliate programs failed.

I truly recommend the Pharmacy Affiliate Program. It's beginning to payoff and it have great comissions.

You can check my site at www.quick-drug-store.com (I've just revamped my store design and some SEO btw) and if you are interested you can sign-up in the Affiliates Link on the top.

They give you all the tools you need to build a top-notch-looking store, with 60% commission.
