What affects Lag ?

    Hi Guys,

    I'm thinking of adding a voice/audio chat to a website, but first I want to know what affects how much lag the user has and if there are ways I can reduce it?

    I'm a bit non-techie so could someone tell me if lag is affected by the users connection or by the kind of server I have?

    Both to certain extent. You need to have some really powerful internet speeds required for communication.
