What adsense alternatives are there for high traffic sites?

i have a jokes site where as the click through rate is absolutely rubbish, i have tried changing the adsense position but nothing seems to work, so far i have had 46,690 impressions and made a little over $6

what alternative revenue souces could i try that would increase the revenue based on my amount of page views?

 

cpx-interactive pay more then adsense in websites with such niches..

Do a demographic study of your traffic. There's many high paying sponsors looking for students, women, or specific types of occupations. Niche segmentation = more cash.
