What addons do you add to your site to help boost SEO?

I have one web site I have VB installed. But I also added a web directory and a few other things. I have had a look around and some of the big sites have different applications built as subdomains or as a directory.

I'll wait to see the results of my actions.

What have you done to help build your domain up for SEO purposes?

Yeah, but it only balloons your impressions and the big G does not like it.

 

I think vbseo gold is excellent but you have to pay huge $

Get PDA version or light version which helps on seo. Dp has in the name of library.

I have seen some other vb forums which list all their pages in footer have excellent seo, but little clumsy !

 

Building up your domain on sub-domains is not good for seo

User generated content is a good strategy. Anything which requires less work to produce unique content.

 

So, installing a niche blog on a subdomain where the main domain is say a forum in a closely related niche is not good for SEO? How so?

 

i dont think that there is such kind of addon available any where

Well, the whole idea of this thread is to discuss what you guys have!

 

Installing the blog on a sub-domain would mean you are essentially starting with a new domain. So, you don't get the domain authority benefits which you would get if you were to publish the content on the main domain.

 

Yeah I know this. But what I am talking about is getting the subdomain SERP increased so the link to the main domain helps out the main domain. Get it?

 

Are you saying the link from the main domain should help the sub-domain to rank?

Of course it does but its one link as opposed to the domain authority you could leverage with the main domain. DP is not a good example because forums.digitalpoint.com has built up a lot of authority on its own.

 

Are you asking something specific about seo and vbulletin> Then I have heard about vbSEO, a plugin for vBulletin forum installations to help improve the SEO factor. If you're asking about WP then I have heard about all in one SEO, platinum SEO, etc. These are wp plugins.
