Adbrite is better than bidvercrapster, but Adsense is much better than adbrite (unless you can't sign up for some reason)
I would go with Adbrite and although bidvertiser can pay high if you sign up under a business related site
If talking about ads on the homepage, I still think adsense works better than bidvertiser or adbrite. I don't know if you would face the same problem: A web page with bidvertiser loads nearly 5s slower than the one with adsense. That's another reason I will stick to adsense.

CPM, no question about it. Hardly anyone clicks on proxified page ads; you'll make way more off constant impressions.
Actually we have to say, CPC on the proxified pages has very low CTR. If there's a high paying CPC which targets your main proxy users, then still worth a try. My CPM ads are now getting around 30 clicks per day, with a CTR lower than 0.1%, lol. The bad thing is, I can hardly find any high paying CPC which allows placement on proxified pages.
