Does anyone know what factors activated the duplicate content filters at youtube? I did a search and came up with nothing.
You can post the exact same content under a different username. If you post the same content more than once under one username than it will be flagged as a duplicate. One of the factors is the bytes size of the file. file1.avi could be 325326436 bytes, if you upload the same content that has the same amount of bytes it would be flagged as a duplicate. This is just one factor. If you want to post duplicate content, just get a video converter (I like xilisoft video converter) and convert the files using different bit rates i.e You convert file1.avi to divx format with a bitrate of 1200 Then you convert it with a bitrate of 1201 then 1202.. etc. etc. when you upload these files the duplicate content filter won't flag these videos.
